todlc - A text-only Diaryland client

todlc is a text-only (console) client for managing Diaryland diaries.  The focus of todlc aims to achieve portability, speed, and ease-of-use.  It was written entirely in perl using only base modules (socket), so there is no need to download anything additional from CPAN.

A short feature list for todlc:

    +   Offline editing and queueing of diary entries.
    +   Uses the user's $EDITOR of choice, or a built-in line editor.
    +   Spell-checking support through the use of ispell.
    +   Dotfile configuration.  Account settings and flags can be configured in a seperate .todlcrc file.

todlc has been tested and is known to work on the following platforms:

    +   FreeBSD 4.x
    +   HP-UX 11.00 & 11i
    +   Solaris 8 (SunOS 5.8)
